Cane Headboard Panel in a Wood Frame, Twin, Full, Queen or King

A wide, solid-wood frame filled with open weave natural cane, made to sit behind a bed and mount to the wall or to the bed frame. The cane breaks up a plain wall and lets a little of the wall color show through its holes, so even the king size looks light rather than heavy.

Four sizes, all 26 in tall, each a little wider than a standard mattress of that size:

The frame comes in oak, walnut-tone or black.

Mounting hardware is not included unless we agree on it in your quote. If you want it, or you are not sure how you will mount the panel, say so in your request and tell us whether it is going on the wall or on a bed frame.

Care is simple: dust the cane with a soft brush or the brush attachment of a vacuum, and wipe it with a barely damp cloth when it needs more. Avoid soaking it and harsh cleaners. Like all natural cane, it starts a light honey color and deepens gradually with light.

Pick the panel for your mattress size. A twin XL takes the twin panel, since it is the same width as a twin and only longer. A California king is a little narrower than a standard king, so the king panel will reach slightly past it on each side. If your bed frame is much wider than the mattress, measure the frame and compare it with the panel widths.

All four panels are 26 in tall. Decide before you order where it will sit: hung on the wall, the bottom edge usually goes a little below the top of the mattress so no gap shows above the pillows.

Oak suits a light, natural room, walnut-tone matches darker wood furniture, and black gives the most contrast against a pale wall.
